Love Yourself!

Oct 28, 2021

How you talk to yourself is integral to the growth of you and your business.

We first need to recognise the way we talk to ourselves, through meditation and mindfulness you can help become more aware of your thoughts.

Pay attention to what your thoughts are saying to you. My fearful ego, who in fairness is only trying to keep me safe, doesn't like change or uncertainty. I have to make a conscious effort to check in with myself regularly throughout the day. I have put reminders in my phone which tell me to breathe and proactively reinforce that I am safe and lovable.

Dr Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who revolutionized the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact the molecular structure of our bodies (we are 80% water) through his water experiments.

So what can you do? First, commit to meditation and mindfulness daily to surface the thoughts then treat the thoughts with a massive dose of compassion and love.

Track your thoughts in a thought journal.

Commit to finding out where they came from (as they usually aren't your stories, to begin with) and to heal the thoughts that bind you to the past through self-discovery, coaching or therapy.

Some amazing books have helped me:
